Sarah Annie Elizabeth Garner Wallis (1863-1916)

Sarah Annie Elizabeth Garner was born in Georgia in the midst of the Civil War.

In 1891, she married widower John Jackson Wallis.

Their first child, Loyd Wallis (1895–1959), was born on December 13, 1895, in Winder, Barrow County, Georgia. Two daughters followed:

  • Annie Dolores Wallis (1898–1986)

  • Flora Nell Wallis (1903–2008)

They lived in a farm in Compton, Barrow County, Ga.

Sarah died in 1916, just two years after her husband, and was laid to rest beside him in the Justice Cemetery.

Two of her granddaughters were also buried there during the next years (1917 & 1819) children of John Burton Wallis
