Joseph Warren Justice (1831-1851)

Joseph Warren Justice (1831–1851) (#2.2)

Joseph Warren Justice was the second son of Allen and Susan Justice. He was born on the family farm by the Mulberry River in Jackson County and died in December 1851 at the young age of 19 years, 10 months, and 3 days, as recorded on his cemetery marker.

He was the first known member of the Justice family to be buried in the Justice Cemetery. The cause of his early death remains unknown.

At the time, his parents were in their mid-fifties, and his siblings—Elizabeth (29), Martha (27), John G. (25), Susan M. (21), Mary A. K. (17), Irina (14), and Allen T. (8)—were likely present at his burial, along with others including his brother-in-law, John M. Venable, husband of Martha.
